How long is the start code valid?
Your code is valid for six months after purchase
Do I have to make reservations?
You don’t need to make a reservation. You can start the rally you want to do at any time between sunrise and sunset.
Where can I start a rally?
Each rally has a different starting point. In the app you can see what the starting points are, in the opening screen the compass and distance meter will show you the route to the starting point
Where can I download the app?
Search the appstore/playstore for “rlly”. OR use the links that lead directly to the app stores: Apple appstore / Google Playstore
Where does a rally end?
Which.. We are not going to tell you, it is the element of surprise that makes an RLLY fun, but we can tell you that the end point is never more than half an hour from the starting point. With a walking RLLY, the end point is very close to the start point.
Why does my compass change direction?
A compass uses the compass sensor on your smartphone. This sensor is different for every phone and also depends on environmental factors (such as satellites to which the sensor connects). To have the most accurate compass possible, you can move your phone in the shape of an 8, the device will then calibrate itself. Continue.. Be patient, you will see that the compass will adjust as you drive / walk further. Keep an eye out to see if the distance still gets smaller as you move in a particular direction.
If the compass continues to point in the wrong direction, your phone will not transmit the values correctly. Annoying, but there are phones where this can happen. What you can do: Install the app on another phone, call / app us so we can reactivate your start code / use the card function.
Do I need internet to follow an RLLY?
If you want to experience the RLLY to the fullest, the answer is yes. With the internet, all images with the assignments will appear correctly and you will be able to answer the questions better. Also, an RLLY costs almost no internet, a few MBs.
On how many devices can I follow an RLLY?
The code you buy can be entered at one device. For the optimal experience, we recommend a maximum of 4 people per code. So if you are with six people, we recommend that you buy two codes using two telephones. PLEASE NOTE: Once the code has been entered on a device, that code can no longer be used!
My phone tells me to go back to the starting point, what now?
Annoying, because that’s obviously not the intention. If you really don’t have the option to continue at the last spot, you can contact the telephone number listed on this site.
When downloading from the playstore I get the message: “Your device is not compatible with this version“, what now?
Exceptionally it can happen that this has to do with an update of playstore on your phone. We found an article that describes how to fix this, click here for a solution .
